With Blijdorp’s new Z-CARD® Expedition Card, younger visitors can explore the park with the help of stickers. Each ‘sticker moment’ (an animal) comes with a question that can be answered. It’s a creative and fun way to combine experience and education. So it’s much more than just a handy map!
Blijdorp decided to sell the Z-CARD® for €1, both when ordering tickets online and at the physical ticket offices at the entrance. This means that the investment pays for itself in a short period of time. To connect offline and online, the card refers to the Blijdorp app, where even more expeditions can now be found.
The Blijdorp Zoo project was produced on a 6 panel Pocket sized Z-CARD® with a book cover. Small enough for children’s hands, but large enough for all the necessary information and activities. The sticker sheet is attached to the left inside of the book cover; the insert is on the right-hand side.
