Guinness achieve a 28% increase in pint sales with Z-CARD® campaign
Guinness wanted to maximise their sponsorship coverage during the Rugby World Cup and increase the sales of Guinness draught and Guinness draught in a can. Guinness launched a '3 for 2' offer prior to and during the competition using Z-CARD®s to ensure the brand message was delivered directly to consumers. Z-CARD®s were handed out to spectators and in selected Guinness pubs.
The Results:
The campaign resulted in a 28% increase in pint sales which equated to 8 million extra pints sold. Guinness also achieved a 15% increase in draught in a can sales.
